OUTFIT POST: SPORT LUXE

So...it's been quite a while since I did an outfit post!

This is what I wore today:

Top: H&M / Trousers: Zara / Bag: Zara / Wedge trainers: See by Chloe / Bracelets: Forever 21 /
Earrings: New Look

Just shopped for some staple white tops in town and had a healthy bowl of Vegetable Dumpling noodles at Itsu.

The weather has been pretty temperamental today - took shelter for a while at Forever 21 with the rest of the crowd before deciding to just dash out into the rain under my pink umbrella, skipping over puddles and trying hard not to get my new shoes drenched!
Coincidentally, there was also a heavy downpour when I first wore my DKNY wedge trainers out, this must be some kind of 'shoe christening' ...

Due to the weather my day out has been short-lived, so I've just been chilling at home, tapping away mindlessly on the Vue Cinema Brave Competition...and other productive things of course! Like checking Twitter...ha!
As I patiently wait for someone to arrive...got my bottle of rose ready and chilled in the fridge x

Fingers crossed that tomorrow will bring some better weather!

BROTHER'S WEDDING: WHAT I WORE

After almost 2 months since my brother's wedding, the photos are finally ready!
Unfortunately haven't got many close-up shots of my outfits as I had hoped for - obviously because I was not the one getting married on this occasion ha!
So had to select some group photos...

First outfit for wedding dinner at Concorde Hotel, Kuala Lumpur:
Michael Kors black dress, clutch bag, tie-dye heels and bangle - all 3 from ALDO

Big brother & little sister

Second outfit for church wedding reception at Wesley Methodist Church, Penang:
Dress from MANGO, nude shoes BCBG Max Azria

Not quite pleased with the dress as it kept creasing after I sat down, poor quality but pretty colour nonetheless.

New extended family
And my third and final outfit for the wedding dinner at Traders Hotel, Penang:
French Connection silk dress, Zara strappy heels (unfortunately covered by my dress!), accessories from Forever 21

It was my first time being an MC (Mistress  of ceremony) at an event! Thank god I had my more experienced cousin brother as my partner in crime...

And as tradition goes, the single girls lined up for the wedding bouquet throw.
My cousin rejoicing on her victorious catch!
Guess I'm not next to get married anytime soon ha!

Cousin bonding time x

We're next! Haha

It was a bit of a task getting my outfits together before the wedding - probably took up most of the space in my luggage bag! But it was worth it, it's not everyday that I get to dress up!

More friend's weddings to attend, time for the shopaholic in me to start keeping an eye out for outfits!

Happy days x

Okay, time to go ogle at some awesome swimmer bodies on TV.
Go Team GB!

DAY OUT: OLD SPITALFIELDS MARKET & SUNDAY UPMARKET, BRICK LANE

Today I am dressed head to toe (or rather 'ankle'?) in my new Zara gear - once again rocking my denim shirt, 2 days in a  row. Got my New Look boots on because BBC weather said it would rain! Best to be prepared.

On the tube I sat next to a rather cute guy - I'm not quite sure what I found more attractive, the geeky glasses and the stubble...or the fact that he was wearing green trousers with a navy blue jumper pulled over a purple polo T-shirt...
I tried hard not to stare...shame I didn't take a photo to post lol.
Spent the day out at Old Spitalfields Market and Sunday Upmarket, Brick Lane - where all the trendy people hang out ha! Took a while to get my bearings right as I'd been there only once before in the past.
For lunch, I went for the salad bowl with falafel, whilst Nelson chose some Lithuanian dish.

Me on my phone as usual!

Came across this Malaysian Pancake stall, looked like Penang 'ban zhang kuih'...then again they had a rather 'intriguing' list of fillings - not quite the typical traditional one you get back home.

Apam Balik Pulut Hitam

Mmm...

Pina colada

Cupcakes mmm...

Fruit smoothies

Pretty telephone booth - Nelson found it too feminine for him!

Then went round trying to look for 'artistic' places to snap some photos!

Testing out the 'walking' pose

'Walking' pose mastered!

Trying to keep a straight face...

Think emo thoughts...

Fail...!

Ok...I obviously find it hard to keep a serious straight face!

I blame the pig.

Many thanks to my friend Nelson Kan for being my photographer for the day! Please do come to London again soon!
